In North Delhi there is a Gandhi Ashram near Dhakka Village near Kingsway Camp. It is nearly 2 Kms away from North Campus of Delhi University. This Ashram has been established by the India Government in the memory of Mahatama Gandhi- the father of Indian Nation.
I have gone into the campus of this Gandhi Ashram many times. Actually there is a medical dispensary inside this campus, and general public can go there to get treatment for common ailments. The patients are mostly given free medicines there. The doctor, who sits in this dispensary, is a general physician who gives very effective medicines. His medicines suits my wife very much. And she always get cured easily and quickly after taking medicines from here. So once or twice every six months, whenever my wife falls ill, we visit the Gandhi Ashram Campus.
The environment there is very peaceful.The entire campus is full of trees. There are some memorial pillars and a temple inside the campus too. So this time when I went into Gandhi Ashram I took some photographs from my Nokia 6233 camera phone.
Every year, around 2-october, exhibitions of Khadi Garments and Handicraft Goods are held inside this campus. Where Khadi manufacturers from all over India come to display and sell their products.
